Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you browse, subscribe, sign in, submit a product, or vote.

Effective July 16, 2026

Overview

LaunchAgora (“LaunchAgora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an AI product directory and launch leaderboard. This policy explains the information we process through launchagora.com and related pages (the “Service”).

Information we collect

Newsletter information

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address, subscription status, signup source, and subscription or unsubscribe timestamps. You do not need an account to subscribe.

Account information

When you use Google to sign in, we receive the basic profile information Google makes available with your permission, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

Submission information

We collect the product name, website and demo links, descriptions, categories, pricing model, founder note, optional LinkedIn or X profile links, product logo, screenshots, and the page URL used during submission verification.

Voting and activity

We store votes with your account identifier and the relevant voting period so we can enforce voting rules and calculate leaderboards. We may also process ordinary technical data such as browser type, IP address, timestamps, requested pages, and security logs when the Service is accessed.

How we use information

  • Send the launch newsletter you requested and manage your email preferences.
  • Provide Google sign-in and maintain your account.
  • Receive, review, publish, and manage product submissions.
  • Display public launch pages and calculate leaderboards.
  • Prevent duplicate votes, abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
  • Maintain and improve the reliability and usability of the Service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where requested.

What becomes public

Approved product information is public by design. This can include the product name, descriptions, links, categories, logo, screenshots, launch date, vote totals, and any founder social profiles you choose to provide. Do not submit confidential information or personal information you do not want published.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate the Service, including Google for authentication, Supabase for authentication support, database, and file storage, and Resend to deliver requested newsletter emails. Their processing is also described in the Google Privacy Policy, Supabase Privacy Policy, and Resend Privacy Policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Service, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction.

We do not sell personal information and do not use account data for paid placement. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required choices.

Cookies and local storage

Authentication and security features may use cookies or browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and protect the Service. We do not currently operate a cross-site advertising program.

Retention and security

We retain account data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Newsletter records are retained while you are subscribed and afterward as necessary to preserve your unsubscribe preference and meet legal obligations. Published submissions may remain available until removed or anonymized. Security logs and rejected submissions may be retained for a limited period for abuse prevention and audit purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To make a request, email us from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. Removing Google access does not automatically delete information already stored by LaunchAgora; contact us if you also want your LaunchAgora account deleted.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If local law requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that requirement to use the Service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service.
